Myanmar, Uranus and Neptune

In Burma the bloody repression by the dictatorial military junta, began the same day of the full-moon in Libra. During the day of the full-moon high energies are released as well as destructive ones.

We are confronted in this historical upraising with a deep, strong challenge between loving-kindness versus violence and ignorance.

Monks, nuns, students, and peaceful crowds, fighting for democracy and freedom , were beaten and shot dead, and the fighting is not over yet.

It has happened before: there was a bloody upraising in 1988 in Burma, but with a different scenario, it was almost unseen. Today, thanks to the Media and Internet, thanks to the bloggers, photographers, video makers, the bloody suppression of the protesters was seen across the globe . In spite of the military junta which blacked out the Internet connections, there will be always some brave individual who will get the news out, sending abroad photos, e-mails or videos.

We can recognise now, that we are witnessing an historical moment:”Spirit versus Matter at its lowest level”.

This explosion of independence, mysticism and the powerful mass response has to do with Uranus in the sign of Pisces as well as Neptune in Aquarius. This, in Astrology, is called a “Mutual Reception,” meaning that these planets are in each-others sign and, they strongly interact one another.

The unexpected joining by the nuns in this scenario, put much emphasis on Aquarius and Uranus and on equal human rights. Brothers and Sisters acting together.

The subtle power of Neptune has penetrated minds and hearts of the whole world and the colour “bronze”, has flooded the international media. This situation is “impressing” a new sensibility on peoples consciousness, taking everybody by surprise and involving everybody.

This mystic-political upraising has happened suddenly (Uranus in Pisces).

With the help of the international net-work of the media, each of us has been catapulted into a far distant country (Pluto still in Sagittarius). Bringing us into the protest, and we grow in compassion and awareness.

Very recently attitudes have changed to spiritual and religious persecution. Where was the outrage when Mahatma Gandhi was fasting, or later, when the Tibetan monks were being persecuted. Today attitudes have changed – today the wall between politics and the spiritual world has fallen. This is a huge step towards a greater level of social consciousness, throughout the societies of the world.

The news is now showing the entire world how interrelated we all are. The combination of Uranus, Pluto, and Neptune, is driving this collective power: politics (Pluto/Uranus) and spirituality (Neptune).

Monks and nuns are responding, with an unexpected determination, to the effects of the Uranus in Pisces, which is able to synthesize the two Pisces (Spirit and Matter) in a totally new formula.

The effects of the planets go with the evolution and growth of the entire world. They are able to give birth to new forms of spirituality, improving the collective human conditions. They are releasing an immense inner power and strength, breaking old ways of living spirituality in the masses, and putting it to work in daily events. The uprising in Burma will be an inspiring and motivating movement towards freedom. Joy, courage and strength are involved.

This mutual-reception between planets and signs, occurs when a status-quo has suddenly broken.

Thousands monks are already in prison, beaten and tortured, but they say: “We are happy because the Light is coming!” The torch of impersonal Love, represented by Neptune in Aquarius, embodied by monks and nuns, is able to be anchored in a political and social protest. This is totally a new approach which dawns the Aquarian Age.

Pluto in the chart of U.S.A.

The transit of Pluto in the chart of U.S.A.

If we look at the U.S.A.'s national chart, cast on July 4, 1776 for Philadelphia, we find, since 2003 , the transit of Pluto in her seventh house. This is a pivotal moment for all the world's affairs.

The chart of U.S. shows the sun in the sign of Cancer and her rising sign 20 degrees Gemini.

In 2004, Pluto, being 20 degrees Sagittarius, made an exact opposition with the conjunction Mars and Ascendant in the national chart. With Mars in this position, the chart shows a strong martial, aggressive attitude, both at home and in foreign affairs. It attracts wars, strikes, riots.

Pluto rules psychotic outbreaks in the collective unconscious. This can bring an obsession with wars, because the seventh house depicts, traditionally, the open enemy.

This area, in Mundane Astrology, rules relations with other countries, all foreign relations, treaties, alliances, wars and all related aspects of national affairs.

With the position of Pluto, in the chart of U.S., we can see the type of projected enemies. Enemies which are lived out as “scary shadows” for the whole nation.

Psychologically this configuration powerfully indicates anxieties and deep rooted fears of destabilization. Because projected enemies are a psychological projection, as when the nation perceives threats from other countries, it attracts, magnetically, what is feared. To identify with our own national fears, can be a very difficult task, because the nation must assume, in the end, their own fears.

Threatening issues from foreign countries are dealt with deep paranoia, whenever this astrological configuration appears in a “mundane chart”.

But the Plutonian energy, when positive and harmoniously dealt with, brings purification and fresh starts in life. Pluto ends old schemes which stand on the way to evolution, and clears the way to reforms.

This aspect is still active right now, because the effect of Pluto is very deeply ingrained.

We can say that, realistically, Pluto is pushing the U.S. capacity to regenerate human relations. If we can turn this opposition into a more harmonious aspect such as the trine aspect, we might learn an “interpersonal“ way to deal with world-conflicts.

Pluto in opposition to Mars suggests a tendency to use more power than necessary to accomplish goals. If we turn it into a trine aspect, we can find creative ways to use vital energies: transforming energies.

A trine can also transform the national drive to win at all costs, into a regenerative dialogue between the two countries: finding a healing synthesis.

Between 2009 and 2010, Pluto will cast again, another opposition: from the first to the seventh house.

This time Pluto will be opposite to the conjunction Venus and Jupiter in Cancer, in the first house.

Which could result in ending relations, philosophical and religious mass-persecutions. Again, if we are able to turn the opposition into a trine, the problem can be partially solved by using profound understandings among the opponents. The contributions of past lessons can bring light in this shadowy projection.

Instead of violent ends, a larger and intense sense of beauty, along with a sense of interaction, can release a “fusion-quality”, which is Jupiter main task.

New avenues to find diplomatic intercourse.

A regenerative way of developing fraternal relations in the U.S.'s chart, is around the corner which not only will be a benefit for the rest of the world but also for their entire nation. Pluto is slow moving planet, but restless in reforming old conditions.

From separation to fusion: this is the planetary task!

The ladder of evolution is endless, as the minds and hearts of people, their potentials are infinite.

JUPITER IN SAGITTARIUS

Jupiter in Sagittarius, this is Jupiter's own sign: it gives a great enthusiasm in life: large ideas, big schemes and an open generosity. It is a position which favours the mental body and an intuitive perception of life. The transit of Jupiter in Sagittarius will continue up to the end of 2007 and portends positive attitudes towards world's problems.

Jupiter displays an energy which brings fusion: it blends different polarities, and different point of view. The planet produces a type of activity in humanity which pushes both individuals and nations, to experience directly different situations, giving birth to wisdom. Which, ultimately means true understanding. It blends mind and love, head and heart, spirit and matter, both individually and in social issues. Jupiter is a synthesising power wherever it falls in a chart, it shows where this fusion is most likely to happen.

Jupiter in Sagittarius has much to do with Love and Wisdom, with the abilities to sense the perspectives and motivations beyond the apparent.

In the Soul-centred Astrology, Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Earth, giving a practical touch to his wisdom.

I noticed that, in this period, many petitions has come to me via e-mail: reinforcing the vision and hope brought up by this configuration. These Petitions cover global warming, peace, animal issues, etc. These petitions come from all distant countries. With Jupiter in his own sign, we can figure out that practical solutions can be expressed by wisdom (which is a mental quality). Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Israel, Africa -- we are all linked to their conflicts. What happens in the farthest galaxy has repercussions in our planet, that is why the fusion quality of Jupiter is so important is so important in world-affairs.

Many groups and individuals are aware of the pressing need of this fusion. That is why the use of the internet is such a catalyst to solve problems, both national or individual. This is a diplomatic labour fuelled by Love. Much contribution to this effort is given by Jupiter in Sagittarius.

Intuitive thoughts in religious disparities can mould separative philosophies; however, spiritual principles are universal in their nature! In this way all religions are interconnected to one another.

The sign of the Archer points to the diplomatic solutions which enlarges the vision of a fused-society, and Jupiter adds the enthusiasm and the zeal to make it happen!

The planet Earth

The planet Earth is the Soul-centred ruler of the sign Sagittarius. We can find the Earth's position on a chart if we count 180 degrees from the natal position of the Sun.

For instance, assume you have the Sun positioned on 21st degree of Leo, than Earth will be found 21st degree of Aquarius. It is an opposition.

The Earth's position, in a chart, represents the concrete path the individual has to pass along in each incarnation. With each incarnation you learn, from practical experiences, which areas you are able to influence others.

Earth is the synthesis between our animal nature and the Soul.

The big conflict between the two takes place where his position in a chart lies.

The field of experience, where she falls, show us the battleground to be redeemed.

The arrows of Sagittarius target the field where Earth is found!

The Sun represents the “creative d.n.a”, we bring into each incarnation in life. The Earth, opposite to him,by position, points where this creativity has to be expressed.

In the area where Earth is placed, we find in which way to service humanity.

Saturn works in parallel with Earth, being both of the same mental nature and linked by the Law of Karma.

If we find Earth in Pisces, it means the Sun is in Virgo, this position will indicate the outer field of service of Virgo. It will give, to the visionary and idealistic Pisces, a touch of practicality.

It will clear up the glamorous desires nature and establishing more equilibrium in the Loving nature.

True Love might be experienced with Earth in Pisces. Our duties, our responsibilities, our dharma in life, are hidden in the Earth's position.

Where the arrows land, is where his field is revealed.

The Earth's environment, which is the physical side of the planet Earth, must be ameliorated, the majority is aware of it! Sound actions must be taken to save the planet, as soon as possible.

What most of people doesn't realize, is that our behaviour, our negative thoughts, negative emotions, especially angriness, produces a violent reaction on the ethereal field of our planet.

All negativities are stored in the ethereal shield which wraps the cortex of our planet. At a certain point

these negativities become concrete, producing disasters, cataclysms, earthquakes, etc... Ponder on this!
