Myanmar, Uranus and Neptune

In Burma the bloody repression by the dictatorial military junta, began the same day of the full-moon in Libra. During the day of the full-moon high energies are released as well as destructive ones.

We are confronted in this historical upraising with a deep, strong challenge between loving-kindness versus violence and ignorance.

Monks, nuns, students, and peaceful crowds, fighting for democracy and freedom , were beaten and shot dead, and the fighting is not over yet.

It has happened before: there was a bloody upraising in 1988 in Burma, but with a different scenario, it was almost unseen. Today, thanks to the Media and Internet, thanks to the bloggers, photographers, video makers, the bloody suppression of the protesters was seen across the globe . In spite of the military junta which blacked out the Internet connections, there will be always some brave individual who will get the news out, sending abroad photos, e-mails or videos.

We can recognise now, that we are witnessing an historical moment:”Spirit versus Matter at its lowest level”.

This explosion of independence, mysticism and the powerful mass response has to do with Uranus in the sign of Pisces as well as Neptune in Aquarius. This, in Astrology, is called a “Mutual Reception,” meaning that these planets are in each-others sign and, they strongly interact one another.

The unexpected joining by the nuns in this scenario, put much emphasis on Aquarius and Uranus and on equal human rights. Brothers and Sisters acting together.

The subtle power of Neptune has penetrated minds and hearts of the whole world and the colour “bronze”, has flooded the international media. This situation is “impressing” a new sensibility on peoples consciousness, taking everybody by surprise and involving everybody.

This mystic-political upraising has happened suddenly (Uranus in Pisces).

With the help of the international net-work of the media, each of us has been catapulted into a far distant country (Pluto still in Sagittarius). Bringing us into the protest, and we grow in compassion and awareness.

Very recently attitudes have changed to spiritual and religious persecution. Where was the outrage when Mahatma Gandhi was fasting, or later, when the Tibetan monks were being persecuted. Today attitudes have changed – today the wall between politics and the spiritual world has fallen. This is a huge step towards a greater level of social consciousness, throughout the societies of the world.

The news is now showing the entire world how interrelated we all are. The combination of Uranus, Pluto, and Neptune, is driving this collective power: politics (Pluto/Uranus) and spirituality (Neptune).

Monks and nuns are responding, with an unexpected determination, to the effects of the Uranus in Pisces, which is able to synthesize the two Pisces (Spirit and Matter) in a totally new formula.

The effects of the planets go with the evolution and growth of the entire world. They are able to give birth to new forms of spirituality, improving the collective human conditions. They are releasing an immense inner power and strength, breaking old ways of living spirituality in the masses, and putting it to work in daily events. The uprising in Burma will be an inspiring and motivating movement towards freedom. Joy, courage and strength are involved.

This mutual-reception between planets and signs, occurs when a status-quo has suddenly broken.

Thousands monks are already in prison, beaten and tortured, but they say: “We are happy because the Light is coming!” The torch of impersonal Love, represented by Neptune in Aquarius, embodied by monks and nuns, is able to be anchored in a political and social protest. This is totally a new approach which dawns the Aquarian Age.

The child with Pluto conjunct Ascendant

Very often, as parents, we don't understand our children's' behaviour, especially if it is an “unexpected” or disruptive behaviour. As soon as we have a chart's reading, Pluto conjunct Ascendant, can help us to learn how to use this powerful effect in our life, and our children. Unless we learn how to use this type of energy responsibly, it could create deep problems .

I think one of the most “intriguing” astrological charts is the one which shows Pluto close to the Ascendant. This aspect can leave parents quite upset forcing changes which are totally new and unplanned. When this happens, the child born with this planet in the rising sign is a force to be reckoned with, both in the environment and in our personal life. With Pluto conjunct the Ascendant, your child will show an unusually intense approach to life.

Since birth, and with the passing years, the personality, character and temperament of this child, expresses power and intensity, no matter in which sign the Sun is in.The Ascendant has very much to do with the first part in life, and to have such a position in the astrological chart makes quite difficult for such a young life to be able to deal with such potency, without experience.

The child is an adult in becoming, he will learn later, hopefully, how to deal with such force.

But right now, in childhood, he tends to succumb to this dominating influence.

Pluto has to do with the Collective energies, not with the personalised ones. Unless these energies are used for social benefit, Pluto tends to be very selfish and destructive when hindered.

These are the lessons the child will learn with age, lessons which will mark big changes in life.

Pluto in Ascendant is difficult to deal with both in childhood and adolescence: Pluto is a manipulative power. Too much intensity in their child makes the parents feel lost.

A strong reaction from the parental side both in childhood or adolescence, can make things worse, leading to the damaging of the relationship between parent and child.

Such a child unconsciously or consciously, is able to read your mind, he, or she, has a kind of “x-rays”. It is impossible to hide feelings from such a child. This capacity produces a tremendous impact in the surroundings. In the action of transforming each situation and, in consequence, causing you to transform, Pluto at the Ascendant reveals to be a karmic agent for its environment. The possessor of this planetary configuration needs changes throughout their life.

Its work is above all on the Astral plane, on the psychic level. The desire-principle must be accomplished, or upsetting consequences are created.

When this type of child loses his temper, it can be quite dramatic and spectacular, the piling up of the explosion starts hidden and with a broody attitude.

The parents must be aware of this underlying process because they can have the chances to rightly reorient this strong energy in their children:

Teaching him/her the compassion and respect for the rights of others.

Trying to leave him/her alone to give them time and space to sort out by themselves the problem. If possible.

Trying not to resist changes in their lives. Parents feel that changes should only their decision not influenced by their children, but such changes cannot be avoided with such a child. A child with Pluto in the Ascendant is a karmic effect for themselves, and the family.

Always using Love and Wisdom.

Being prepared that this child likes to take risks, the experiences are always very intense.

Their approach to life is quite serious, either black or white, do-or-die-attitude, no half-ways.

Emotions can run high, changes are likely to happen during crises-periods, and if rightly handled, they produce a regenerated being, after each crisis.

On the Soul-centered level, Pluto in Ascendant, can produce a charismatic aura around the individual tending the person to become a Reformer.

The expression of dominance in the environment must be turned from the egocentric to the selfless in order to express good will.

Pluto in Ascendant, if rightly used, produces miracles! It is a strong Healing Vibration.

Indeed, Pluto is the spiritual ruler of Pisces.

NEPTUNE IN AQUARIUS

With Neptune in Aquarius, within your psyche the jagged will become smooth. This is done by the continuous, subtle wave of Neptunian pressure.

These gentle waves affect us in a silent way: they bring revelations about our true nature.

The soft power of Neptune erodes the hard edges either in an individual or at a social level.

With the help of the sign Aquarius, Neptune is able to dissolve walls between different groups of people, speeding up the process of global unity. We can call Neptune “the Dissolver” of the Zodiac, and the alignment with Aquarius, produces a new vision of the future society to come.

The subtle influences of Neptune are often imperceptible, they infuse the consciousness, bringing insights.

Spiritual Sciences, arts, the angelic world, the electromagnetic field, as well as pollution and intoxications ... are really Neptunian issues.

Because all these issues surround us in our daily life, they are able to produce a flow of awareness and a greater sensitivity within us. Neptune in Aquarius stimulates this sensitivity to all our surroundings. This is consciousness in action. Global warming, etc.

With the help of Neptune in Aquarius new ways of healing are taking place. For instance in treating schizophrenia and mental illness, Neptune shows a more experimental way of dealing with these ailments.

Where the split from reality and illusion lies, there in this chasm, is the point where Neptune can make the difference.

By strengthening the spiritual self, the mundane self becomes the servant, rather than the ruler. Neptune is compassion, and has to do with the super-consciousness, and it is the development of the super-consciousness the key to spiritual consciousness in humanity.

It is this spiritual comprehension that advances the spiritual self and demotes the mundane self to its rightful role of servant and thereby removing the internal conflict. Neptune is both the cause of the glamour-illusion that can lead to mental illness, but if it is used in a spiritually scientific way, it also a cure.

It is no coincidence that this configuration appears in this dramatic period of human history. Neptune in Aquarius smooths the hard calcifications of built up materialism. The public flowering of compassion, although some is still very egoistical, is influenced by the subtle waves of Neptune in Aquarius

Neptune in Aquarius inaugurates a period where the urge for spiritual life will counteract much materialistic tendency. The intellect will be more influenced by intuition. Whereas the waves of Neptune and Aquarius are operating at their higher potentials, the Music of the Spheres will be heard.

The Education in the New Era

Germany, Xenophobic Wave. Three teenagers shot at London...

After the racist attacks, the social democrats ask to ban NPD

Extreme right at bar. After the violent attacks against immigrants of the last few days, in Germany, the political debate about a possible ban of the neo-Nazi party NPD has fired up again.

The aggressions in various German cities against a Senegalese, an Iraqi, an Egyptian and seven Indians, the last ones violently beaten up by about fifty neo-Nazis in Muglen, have outraged German public opinion.

To the extent that the Social Democratic Party (SPD), a member of the coalition guided by Angela Merkel (Grosse Koalition), has taken, trough its President Kurt Beck, legal action to ban the extreme right wing party, responsible, a few days ago,to promote racial hatred through the ludicrous and grotesque words of its president Udo Voigt.

Voigt has recommended Hitler's right-hand man Rudolph Hesse as a Peace Noble Prize candidate!

Most of NPD' supporters are young Germans, aged 14 to 25, half of them think that Nazism had “its positive aspects”.

On the other hand three teenagers, including a 13 years -old boy, have been shot outside a house party in north London, days ago.

Police say a large number of people were outside in the street when a group of youths with their faces covered turned up and fired a handgun.

A 18 years-old girl is being treated in hospital after being hit in the back.

A boy of the same age was wounded in the chest - the 13 years old in the leg.

And the list is growing...

“What the West has tolerated, but secretly and with a slight sense of shame ( the diplomatic lie, systematic deception, veiled threats ), come back into the open and in full measure from the East and ties up in neurotic knots.

It is the face of his own evil shadow that grinned at Western Man from the other side of the Iron Curtain.” - Carl Jung

The “shadow” represents our emotions and behaviour that are incompatible with our own self-image, so they are repressed into our subconscious.

The “shadow-projection” occurs when someone projects his own guilty-complex, outside on individual or national level.

These young people, as a group, project what they deny inside themselves onto other people, so nations project what is called as” Collective Shadow”.

This is very much an aspect of the planet Pluto which is entering in the year 2008 in the sign of the leaders and political issues: Capricorn.

This configuration will challenge the status quo.

The basic dynamic underlying group hatred and violence asks for a turning point in handling a New Education at schools.

The political leaders must figure out what went wrong in the educational field.

To reorient the child's consciousness in a way that he might be able to recognise, since childhood, that all the teachings are targeting towards the others' good , rather than his,it requires a totally new vision in the teaching-area. New Teachers, with a loving-kindness awareness, are blossoming, right now.

With this perspective, the child will learn to look forwards, in a peaceful direction.

The teachings regarding the past, will be given to uplift, positively, the racial consciousness, instead on being based on facts such as material conquests and aggressions. This is what is happening, now.

In the mind of the child, the past connects with the present.

In the New Educational future, the capacity of the child to unify, to connect, different aspects of his life, will be developed.

He will be more in tune with the whole, rather than with separative tendencies

The concept of “Relationship” with all the living beings, will be enhanced.

Children will be able to see and lived out the “Brotherhood and Sisterhood” in their lives, better than the adults, educated with old and outdated methods. The new world-citizens are already born and are in our society, right now.

In the New Educational School, will lie the hope for the future generations, let's make it happen, soon. West and East want it and need it, badly!

BLESSINGS OF THE BUDDHAS

What is the Maitreya Project?

The historical collection of more than 1,000 Relics will be enshrined in the heart of a statue of Maitreya Buddha being built in Kushinagar, India.

The purpose of the Maitreya Project is to bring as much benefit to as many people as possible for as long as possible. This is achieved through the practise of loving-kindness towards oneself and others.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama explains:-

“When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. When our community is in a state of peace, it can share that peace with neighbouring communities and so on. When we feel love and kindness towards others it not only makes others feel loved and cared for but also helps us to develop inner happiness and peace.”

“This Project is really wonderful and is the result of great courage and determination, and from the depth of my heart I appreciate and applaud this wonderful project and all those people connected with this project-the benefactors and all the others who have contributed and are contributing to it.

You should realize that this is a very holy and sacred Project”.

Who is Maitreya Buddha?

Maitreya is known as the Buddha of living-kindness. He will appear in this world after the time of Shakyamuni Buddha and teach the dharma.

It is just about building a huge statue?

No. Lama Zopa Rinpoche has said:”The statue itself is not the goal, it is the method for achieving the goal.”

The Project's ultimate goal is to create peace and harmony throughout the world. To achieve this, we offer a way of life based on the attitude of loving-kindness. The central, focal point embodying this loving-kindness is the beautiful, golden Mitreya statue with the sacred relics inside.

What is the Maitreya Project Heart Shrine Relic Tour?

A collection of more than 1,000 sacred relics of the Buddha and other Buddhist Masters is now touring the world. These relics will be permanently enshrined inside the heart of a magnificent Maitreya Buddha statue being built in Kushinagar, India due for completion in 2010.

How does the Project promote loving-kindness and peace?

*By providing immediate, direct, muche needed support for the local Indian people including schools, a network of local clinics offering free medical treatment, local jobs and resulting economic growth. There is already a school in Bodhgaya offerinf free education and health care to local children.

*By giving visitors the tools to develop their loving-kindness within a center for spiritual development and academic excellence-including monastery, nunnery, sacred art, meditation/lecture halls, peaceful pavilions and spiritual sanctuaries with information on the study and practice of metta or loving kindness.

*By being a dynamic example of loving kindness in action to the world. People can find a source of inspiration by watching the growth of the Project via the world media.

Whwrw can I find out more about the Relics and Maitreya Project?

Nearly 3 million of children are reported...

CHILDREN'S MEMORIAL FLAG

The Child Welfare League of America is the nation's oldest and largest membership-based child welfare organization. Was founded in Washington DC in the year 1998.

On the 27 th of April, has been launched the Children Memorial Flag Campaign to let know ,publicly, that nearly 3 million children are reported to be abused and neglected ,every year.

The Children Memorial Flag has been designed by a 16 y.o. Californian youth and shows five doll-like figures of children standing side-by-side, holding hands against a red backcloth.

A sixth child, in the center, is represented by a thin, white chalk outline, symbolizing a child lost to violence. The “lost-child”!

April has been recognised as the Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Reports say that :”the United States leads the world in homicides against children and youth under age 15, accounting for 73% of all homicides and 54% of all suicides of children, birth to age 15”.

In the year 2002 the dead children reached the number of 1.390 .

Abused and neglected children , in Astrology are ruled by the planet Saturn, when he is in distress.

Saturn represent limitations and things that you cannot do.

Difficulties ,with this planet, turn out in the most difficult psychological problems you can have in your life.

Saturn repress the energy of the other planet when in difficult aspect, with it,in a chart. He causes a frustration and a storage in the unconscious mind., creating a very hard situation to deal with.

Saturn is related to one's father, and, in difficult aspects to other planets shows an hard relationship with the father-figure.

Often, an inferiority-complex lies dormant.

An aggressive projection from the inner to the outer world, represented in this case by a child, might be ,for some, a release for this frustration!

Saturn,on the other hand, is a testing ground to prove a person's level of maturity.

He gives to us the opportunities to grow in awareness and consciousness, trough overcoming the obstacles.

He is a most spiritual guardian, he is a Karmic choice. To take responsibilities on this worldwide problem of the abuse on children , for us all, becomes a matter of maturity!

THE SUFFERINGS OF TIBET

CHINA DESTROYS GIANT BUDDHIST STATUE IN TIBET

Published by the Canada Tibet Committee

In a demonstration of tightening controls over religious freedom in Tibet, the Chinese People's Armed Police (PAP) destroyed a 30-foot high statue of the Buddhist figure of Guru Rinpoche, or Padmasambhava in Samye Monastery, the oldest monastery in Tibet.

Guru Rinpoche is worshipped by Tibetan and Chinese Buddhists alike as the founder of Buddhism in Tibet in the 8th century.

Chinese authorities claim that the statue, which was constructed using funds from two Chinese Buddhists, violated regulations passed in January 2007 stating that “organizations and individuals not belonging to religious organizations or places of religious activity may not erect or construct large-scale outdoor religious statues or mani lhakhang (prayer wheel temple).”

After the Chinese occupation of Tibet in 1949, over 6.000 monasteries, nunneries, and temples were looted of precious religious artefacts or destroyed entirely.

Over 110.000 religious leaders (including monks, nuns, and others) were tortured and put to death; an additional 250.000 were forcibly dis robed.

Thousands of refugees continue to flee Tibet each year in search of religious freedom they can no longer enjoy in their own country.

If we trust in the Law of Karma, Reincarnation can provide some answers into the question if exists justice in the world.

We have to look deeper in the past, to find out if, presently, the law of cause-effect is in action.

This as to do with individuals, as well as groups because conflicts, wars, genocide, sufferings, have a lot to do with “group-karma”.

Souls reincarnate in groups to learn some spiritual lessons, or like the case of the Tibetan, to carry out an higher spiritual purpose for humanity.

The Dalai Lama pointed out that the Chinese invasion of Tibet and the destruction of Tibetan monasteries caused the spread of the Buddhists monks to the West and its growing popularity.

This state of things would not have happened if all the monks had stayed in Tibet.

The Dalai Lama pointed out in an interview with The New York Times, that the present invasion from China has to do with hidden causes stretching back into the previous lives of both countries.

Has been said that when a country hates another, chances are that their people will reincarnate into the nation which is the object of hate.

I herd, in a meeting of spiritual sciences in Canada, lately, that the needs of the Young Chinese people, are suddenly changing.

Seems that they are searching and looking for spiritual direction.

Their minds and hearts are going in the direction of the “Tibetan path.”

So, not only the western countries, but the young Chinese too, will benefit from this “group karma'. Karma which links China and Tibet. Karma which the Tibetans carry out with a spiritual purpose.

May the young Chinese -people be strong enough, one day, to change the Tibetan suffering!
